Birthplace of Henry Lawson and Henry Lawson Festival: Step back in time and explore the birthplace of one of Australia's literary legends, Henry Lawson. Visit the Henry Lawson Centre, where his life and works come to life through exhibits, memorabilia, and insights into the poet's early years in Grenfell. To commemorate Henry Lawson’s birth and his contribution to the arts, Grenfell hosts the annual Henry Lawson Festival on the June long weekend. The festival promotes and recognises aspiring Australians in their artistic endeavours.

The Grenfell railway station: is a heritage-listed closed railway station with a  type 16 station building built in 1901 and the turntable is a Sellers 1072 type. The railway station opened on 7 May 1901. The goods shed is now used as a Men's shed and the station building is one of the finest extant examples of a pioneer terminus station with timber platform face. The locomotive facility is one of the very few remaining locomotive facilities in the state.

 

Grenfell Silo Art:  stands out with its Heesco Khosnaran masterpiece during the day and becomes a real eye catcher at night. Catch the stunning Grenfell Silos Lightshow every evening from sunset until 9:30 PM, all year round. 

 

Historic Architecture: Wander through Grenfell's historic streets and marvel at the well-preserved architecture that tells the story of a bygone era. The town showcases charming buildings, including the Railway Station, the former Post Office, and the Grenfell Court House, providing a glimpse into its rich heritage.
 

The Big Gold Pick and Pan: Australia is known for its many big things. There is the Big Pineapple, the Big Banana,
the Big Merino, the Big Prawn and the list goes on. In Grenfell, there is the Big Gold Pick and Pan! The pick and pan were constructed under the supervision of the Grenfell Men's Shed, and was built in recognition of Grenfell's significant contribution to the Australian gold era during the mid to late 1860s.

Company Dam: Built in June 1867 to supply water for gold mining holding up to 10 million gallons of water . From 1901 led it was used to supply water to steam engines. Today it used as a recreational area great for walking, running, cycling and canoeing and is also as bird watchers haven with over 50 different species spotted. There are many species of plants such as lilies, bush peas, heath plants, daisies, native grasses, as well as a number of orchids, including the Green-comb Spider Orchid.
